Description

The Outeiro - Lugar Comum, Cooperativa de Habitação, with technical support from the CDRN of the Portuguese Architects’ Association, organised a competition to develop an architectural design for a housing development in Maia, in the Outeiro area (Vermoim).

The main objective of this private design competition was to identify a set of design solutions that would provide an appropriate and well-considered response to the urban, landscape and architectural challenges involved in the construction of a residential complex, comprising buildings to be refurbished, new-builds, and communal facilities, to be managed as a housing co-operative.
